The detached cottage has recently been restored from a barn to provide very comfortable accommodation for two and is situated adjacent to Old Mill in the heart of East Buckland, North Devon.

The large oak beamed lounge/dining/kitchen room (19x 16 feet) is extremely light and sunny with large windows and beautiful views surround the property.  The kitchen area has ample crockery and cutlery, saucepans etc, and all the modern conveniences necessary for a relaxing holiday: dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, full sized electric oven and hob, Sky TV with radio etc.  A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for use in the converted cow shed next to the cottage.

The bedroom is equipped with a pocket sprung five foot bed, new carpet and all the furniture and rugs in the cottage are of good quality.  All linen and bath towels are provided but not beach towels.  The bathroom includes a bath and shower and the whole cottage has been decorated in neutral colours.  A patio area with garden furniture exists outside the cottage and a gas barbeque is available for use.

Old Mill Cottage is situated adjacent to the owners' home about 3 miles from the edge of Exmoor and is quite secluded.  There are beautiful views down a valley looking towards Exmoor and the property is surrounded by a sheep sanctuary.  A six acre field belongs to Old Mill and several horses graze regularly.

This accommodation is very warm in winter and would suit people who like walking in all weathers.
